ONLINE WAGERING
To place online wagers, you must first have a
password set up. It should be 4-8 characters .
Just call in or email what you want your password
to be. If you have any problems or questions,
please call during business hours or email at any
time to Info@1stLines.com.

HOW IT WORKS:
We've made the online system as simple as possible.
It has no graphics to slow the system down. You can
place straight bets, parlays, teasers, reverses and
round robins, even combination sports parlays. You
are also able to access 1sthalf and halftime lines.
Special plays like horses and if bets are done on
tickets which we enter manually and for which you
receive a time stamped email confirmation.

SUBMITTING WAGERS
First select the sport, which will display the lines
for that sport. Then select the type of play you want.
Click on the items you want. Each selection will
show in the ticket window on the right. Fill in
the amount and click submit once you are sure your
wager is correct. The ticket window will then display
the status of the wager(s) submitted. Once they show
"Submitted" you have action. You can submit them
one at a time or form a ticket with multiple wagers
before submitting. If you are making a number of
straight plays it is more efficient to select them
all first, then fill in the amounts and submit. If
you are entering a multiple selection wager such as a
parlay or teaser you must either submit it or click
"Next Wager" to tell the system you are finished making
selections for that wager. Close to gametime, you may
want to send them one at a time to avoid being shut out.

CHECKING BALANCES & REVIEWING PLAYS
Plays are graded and your balance and available to
wager are updated as scores are put in. Pending
shows only ungraded plays and history shows your
beginning balance on deposit to start the week,
deposit or withdrawals for the week, a summary of
each day's activity (just click on a day to see the
detail of what settled that day), and current balance
before pending wagers. This includes plays settled
today.

LINE CHANGES
Your lines screen any time you switch sports. In the
rare event that a line changes before you press submit,
you will have the new line. This will show in the
ticket window. If you don't want the play at that
new line, just press "del" & we will delete the play
for you.

HALFTIME WAGERING
1st Lines has lines at halftime for NFL games and most
nationally televised NCAA games. The lines and wagers
taken are as if the second half (including overtime)
is a separate game. The line doesn't come out until
3-5 minutes after the first half ends and is only
available for a short time during halftime.

TRY TO AVOID PLAY CANCELLATIONS
Keep in mind that, just like when you call in, the
system is designed for making plays not deleting
them. Please be careful that your play is correct
before submitting it and going to the readback. Try
to keep play cancellations to a minimum. If you enter
a play that is incorrect, you need to contact us by
phone or using the "Contact" form immediately. Once
a game has started or a line has changed, it is much
harder to justify a play cancellation.

ONLINE LIMITS
Minimum bet $1
Maximum bet $500 PLEASE, NO DUPLICATIONS TO EXCEED $500

Please give us your feedback about the online system.

PARLAY & TEASER PAYOUT TABLE
============================

# of Parlay _____________Teaser Odds____________
items Odds 4 or 6pt 4.5 or 6.5pt 5 or 7pt

2 13/5 -1.10 -1.20 -1.30

3 6/1 9/5 8/5 3/2

4 10/1 3/1 5/2 2/1

5 20/1 9/2 4/1 7/2

6 40/1 Max is 6 teams for phone in wagers

7 75/1

8 150/1

9 300/1

10 600/1

Note that 4, 4.5, or 5 point teasers are for basketball
and 6, 6.5, & 7 point teasers are for football.

SWEETHEART TEASERS
Sweetheart teasers are 8 points in basketball and 10
points in football. You risk $120 to win $100 on
sweethearts and they must contain exactly 3 selections.
Any push in a sweetheart teaser makes it a losing play.

MONEYLINE PARLAYS
Note that we have a new system for computing the payout
of plays which include moneylines. The complex formula
starts with the fixed odds parlay payout amount and
adjusts it based on the prices of the lines in your
parlay. The net result is that if you parlay favorites
in moneylines it will pay less than a fixed odds parlay
but slightly more than a true moneyline parlay with those
prices. If you parlay items with + prices, it will pay
more than a fixed odds parlay, but less than a true
moneyline parlay.

If you want to know what a parlay will pay before you
submit it, just fill in the amount and click "calculate".

STRAIGHT WAGERS
Point Spread Wagers (Bets on a "side")
In football & basketball to wager on a team, you
bet on that team to "cover the spread". For example,
in a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Saints,
the Las Vegas odds makers expect Dallas to win by 10
points. The "line" or "spread" would be Cowboys -10
(the Saints line would be +10). For wagers on Dallas
-10 points to win, Dallas must win the game by 11 or
more points. If Dallas wins by 10 points, the wager
is a "push" and there is "no action" on the bet; you
neither win nor lose your wager. If Dallas wins by
9 or fewer points, the game ends in a tie, or New
Orleans "wins the game outright"; wagers on Dallas
-10 points are losing wagers & wagers on New Orleans
+10 points are winning wagers.

Wagers on Totals ("over / unders")
You can also wager whether the total points scored by
both teams combined will be more ("over") or less
("under") than a certain number called the "total"
or "over/under". For example, if the oddsmakers
expect the total points scored by both teams combined
in the Dallas-New Orleans game to be 37 points. The
"over/under" or "total" would be 37. If the score is
Saints 28 - Cowboys 10, then the total points scored
is 38 and wagers on the over are winners and wagers
on the under are losers.

Win and loss
On these "straight bets" in football & basketball you
risk or "lay" $11 to win $10, $110 to win $100, $550
to win $500, etc.. This 10% premium is standard in
the industry.

Line Changes
In our business lines change often. When changes
occur, the new line applies only to wagers from that
point forward. Line changes do not affect existing
wagers (i.e. once you make a bet, the line for your
wager does not change despite subsequent changes in
the line). On rare occasions a line will change
after the clerk has read it to you, but before the
team# is entered. When this occurs, you get the new
line. Clerks cannot change a line.

MONEYLINE WAGERS
Moneylines in general:
Moneyline wagers are used for Baseball, Hockey, Soccer,
and Boxing. They are also offered for certain football
& basketball games. On moneyline wagers you pick the
winner (there is no point spread to cover). When
betting on favorites (the teams oddsmakers expect to
win) you "lay odds" (i.e. risk more money than you win.
When betting on underdogs (the teams expected to lose)
you "take odds" (i.e. win more money than you risk).
Generally, moneylines for favorites are quoted as the
amount the amount you risk to win $100. Moneylines for
underdogs are quoted as the amount you win if you risk
$100. Unlike point spreads which are the same but
opposite for both teams, the moneyline for the favorite
is always greater than the price of the underdog.
Examples are as follows:

Favorite & Line Underdog & Line
Tyson -195 Holyfield +175 lay $195 to win $100
on Tyson & lay $100 to win $175 on Holyfield
Braves -180 Dodgers +160 lay $180 to win $100 on
Atlanta Braves lay $100 to win $160 on LA
Bulls -180 Jazz +160 lay $180 to win $100 on
Chicago Bulls $100 wins $160 on the Jazz

BASEBALL

Action vs Listed:
The default now for wagers on a team is Action. That means
that if there is a change in starting pitcher after you
place your bet, you will still have a bet with the same
risk amount but at the price with the new pitcher. You
have the option in the ticket window to change each
selection to Listed pitchers, Selected pitcher listed,
or Opponent pitcher listed.

Runlines and totals are Listed Pitchers only.

15 Cent Line
Our baseball moneyline is called a "15 cent line". This
means that generally the line for the favorite is 15
higher than the line for the underdog. Examples are
favorite -115 dog +100; favorite -135 dog +120;
favorite -108 dog -107; etc. The difference in price
goes to 20 when the favorite reaches -150
(e.g. Braves -155 Cubs +135). The price difference
gets higher with heavier favorites.

Baseball Totals
You can bet on totals in baseball. If the total is 7 or
"7 flat", you lay $110 for $100 to bet on the under 7 or
over 7. If the total is "7 over -120" also read as
"7 over 20", you lay $120 to win $100 on the over 7, and
$100 to win $100 on the under 7 . If the total is
"7 under -125" also read as "7 under 25", you lay $100
to win $105 on the over 7, and lay $125 to win $100 on
the under 7. The difference between the price of the
under and the price of the over is always 20.

SPECIAL RULES - Note that we follow standard Las Vegas
Rules for sports betting.

FOOTBALL- If a football game is called off due to
lightning, earthquake, etc. in the last 5 minutes
of a 60 minute game, bets on a team (side) are
action. If it is called off before 55 minutes
have been played bets on a side are no action.
A full 60 minutes must be played for action on
the total (over-under).

BASKETBALL- If a basketball game is called off with more
than 5 minutes remaining all bets are "no action".
If it is called with less than 5 minutes remaining
wagers on sides and totals are "action".

BASEBALL- Wagers on totals and runlines are always
"No Action" in the event of a change in either
starting pitcher.

If a game is called or suspended after 5 innings (4.5
if the home team leads), the winner is determined by
the score after the last full inning of play, unless the
home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom
half of the inning. The winner is then determined by the
score at the time the game is called. The game must go
a full 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) or
wagers on totals or runlines are No Action.

TEASERS- In any 2 team teaser, if one team pushes the
wager is no action. A push in a 3 or more team
teaser reverts to the next lower level with the
amount wagered at risk remaining the same. e.g.
a push in a $100 3 team teaser reverts to a 2
team teaser laying $100. Sweetheart teasers are
an exception; a push makes sweethearts a loss.

PARLAYS- A push or a "no action" in any parlay reverts
to the next lower level. A 3 team parlay reverts
to a 2 team parlay, etc. A push in a 2 team
parlay reverts to a straight bet on the remaining
team laying the amount bet on the parlay. If any
selection in a parlay loses, it is a losing wager
regardless of the other results.

Football & basketball parlays are fixed odd parlays.
Baseball and hockey parlays are moneyline parlays.
Combinations of fixed odd sports parlays and moneyline
sports parlays are accepted and result in a hybrid
combination to determine payoff.

IF WINS- If wins are taken as "if win only". The
first part must win to have action on the second
part. If wins may be attached to earlier wagers.

REVERSES- Reverses are a special type of IF Win wager.
A $100 reverse consists of 2 straight bets to win
$100 each on teams A & B. If A wins you get $100
more on team B and if B wins you get another bet
on team A. If both win, you win $400. If both
lose, you lose $220 (generally) and if 1 wins and
one loses, you lose $120 (generally). If one is
a push or "no action", you have only a single
straight bet on the other team.

BUYING POINTS- You can buy points or half points in
football and basketball on the game line or game total.
Each half point you buy adds an extra 10% to the juice.
Note that in football if you buy on off or accross -3
or +3, it costs an extra 10%

HORSE WAGERS- All horse bets must be in at least 5
minutes prior to post time. We give you the time that
the wager was placed as part of the wager. We pay
track odds on horse bets. We accept Win-Place-Show
bets, Exactas, Quinellas, and Trifectas. Please no
Pick3s or higher or superfectas.

LINE ERRORS- Although we strive to be perfect, we do
make mistakes. Wagers made on significant errors in
lines are "No Action". When someone places a wager
on a line that is obviously in error, we consider that
cheating (see below). Instead drop us a note or call
to let us know and we give you a bonus. This is part
of what keeps your money on deposit safe and helps
avoid the potential of collusion.

CHEATING- Any attempts to cheat or conspire to cheat
will be dealt with harshly and could even result in
forfeiture of your account balance. We would never
try to cheat our customers in any way and we expect
the same respect from our customers.
